Located off Highway 92 close to the Acworth & Marietta area, you can find RestorABLE Recreation Therapy owned by Jarron Scurry, CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist).
RestorABLE Recreation Therapy provides services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to restore social, emotional, cognitive and physical goals of each client by utilizing various therapeutic recreation interventions, leisure activities and community involvement. We provide a person centered one on one or group therapeutic approach to enhance the lives of individuals to live an ABLE healthy lifestyle within their community. We offer a day program 3 days a week for young adults with daily outings, fitness, social, and real life experiences to gain independence out in the community as well as various weekend social programs!

They offer a therapeutic recreation day program for young adults that meets 3 days a week to focus on individualized goals of each participant to become independent within our community. They incorporate daily community outings, fitness, social, leisure and recreational activities into our day program to provide individuals with an overall improved quality of life.

Community Access Individual Services
RestorABLE also provides CAI services to its clients at an hourly rate. CAI is the acronym for a Community Access Individual which is a trained support provider who goes out with an individual into the community to help work on personal goals or a particular skill. The CAI will come to your house or designated meeting spot and take an individual out into the community. The details are arranged on an individual basis, but RestorABLE will work in the Marietta, Acworth and Kennesaw communities.
