The Transition Services Resource Fair , hosted by CCSD Transition Services and Marietta City Schools Department of Student Services, was last week. It was a well organized event with two floors of organizations sharing their programs and services.
Walking through the tables, I saw the big names and familiar faces in our community as well as meeting new people and learning a lot. It was exciting to see younger faces, high energy and fresh ideas.
The past few days I have sorted through the mounds of flyers I brought home and loaded the pertinent ones into The Ginkgo Link Resource Directory.

I share any organization, program or event in the West Cobb, Marietta, Acworth or Kennesaw community.
We will also include resources that are less than a 10 mile drive from our community so you will see resources in Woodstock, Roswell, Hiram, Dallas, Smyrna and Sandy Springs included. Once you get to Alpharetta, Douglasville, Atlanta, Buckhead, Canton and beyond I start to leave programs off the list as it strays from our purpose of being a local resource.
Online services or organizations which work virtually with individuals are also included.
